Zurich do all their medical underwriting (assessing) on application and not when a claim is made. This ensures that in the unfortunate event of a claim having to be made, it is dealt with swiftly and valid claims are paid out to you, your loved ones or your business colleagues quickly and efficiently.

Zurich price their plans to pay out, they do not intend to be featured in the press for not honouring a claim.

In 2009, of 823 claims for valid critical illnesses, only 9 were declined! (and that was because the customer didn’t tell Zurich about important medical or health information when they took out the plan.)

Would a price comparison site ensure a life plan is written in trust if required? Would it know whether single or joint policies are most appropriate?
